2023 La Miraja “Cuore di Luna” Chardonnay

  • The 2023 La Miraja “Cuore di Luna” Chardonnay hails from the Piedmont region of Italy, specifically from estate vineyards in Calosso situated at an elevation of 250 meters above sea level. These southwest-facing vineyards are planted on calcareous-clay soils, with vines dating back to 1995. The grapes are hand-harvested, destemmed, and gently pressed using a basket press.

Fermentation occurs naturally in stainless steel tanks, and the wine does not undergo malolactic fermentation, preserving its fresh and vibrant character.

  • In the glass, this Chardonnay presents a medium body with zippy acidity and notes of lime, guava, pineapple, thyme, and green apple.
