I definitely wanted a red by the glass (and bottle) that would pair well with much of our menu, is uncomplicated, juicy, and delicious. Once again, the Ercole hit the mark, this tim in Barbera form. I love the soft raspberry and red cherry notes, with just the right amount of acidity to remain refreshing and palette cleansing. Can stand up to our richest dishes, but super versatile if ordering a variety of foods. Full liter, so great for larger parties.
